Yeah, there's a nice visual effect when using smooth curves instead of chevrons. I tend to call them 'macaroon gears' because of the way they look when the pitch angle is small.ArtF wrote: Im not so sure Id call those non-circular bevels.. its almost as if they need their own term....

I revised it with less eccentricity, lower pitch, and larger pressure angle to mitigate print quality issues, and also fixed a rounding bug. Now I have some gears that actually mesh.
