I've been playing around with Gearotic 3's Gear Train Calculator, and for some reason it misses some obvious ratios.
As an example gear train:
* Desired Ratio of 16
* the lowest value for Maximum Allowed Error
* Complexity of 2 Pairs
* 10 teeth minimum, and 64 teeth maximum
The suggested list is missing 48/48/12/12, but includes (amongst others) the similar ratios with matching wheels and pinions (40/10, 44/11, 52/13, 56/14, 60/15, and 64/16).
A second bug that I just found while trying things out is that if I reduce the maximum teeth to 56, selecting a Maximum Error of 0.001 will find 3 ratios, but a Maximum Error of 0.0001 (tighter!) will find 9 ratios.

Re: Gearotics Gear Train Calculator missing some ratios
Hi:
Thanks, Ill take a gander in the code to see why that may happen, its a complex search function and I likely have a sign
bug in there or something. :)
