Installation errors

Hi - Win 10 x64

I'm trying to install the latest release but keep getting the following errors....

The specified directories exist but they are all empty.

I managed to install on my Win 7 x64 macine earlier this week with no problems.

Nic:

That very much looks like a corrupted installation file.. could it have been damaged or on a bad usb in the transfer?

I've downloaded three times now & the same errors.

Nic:

  Sorry, I didnt read the error closely enough, I highly suspect your antivirus is screwing with you.

You dont really NEED the file mechs.exe for example. Its a self-unpacking file of .mech files
for the kinetics module, but some antivirus programs hate to see self unpacking programs,
so they remove them before they can unpack.

  Try disabling your antivirus first, I suspect it will install.

Yep it was Norton Auto Protect deleteing the files. Had to install, release the files from quaratine & unblock, delete the installation & then re-install... phew!

All work fine now thanks Art

Some people say that Norton is a virus.

If you decide to uninstall Norton, some have reported it is very difficult to remove from your computer.
