Whenever I attempt to run in "Circular" mode I am getting an Error Message
"Encountered an improper argument"
I have tried your trick of shutting down the program via the Task Manager but this does not correct the problem.
All of the other Gear Type applications appear to work OK
The problem only manifests when attempting Circular.
Done a reinstall but the problem still exists.
Improper Argument
Re: Improper Argument
Hi Barry:
Is this happening the instant you press for circular? Or when trying to change something?

Re: Improper Argument
This happens as soon as I press the "circular" button.
I have been looking for a "Reset to Defaults" option on the "Circular Gear Module"
It was all operating fine but I must have changed a parameter and thereby caused it to become confused.
I do not see any way to reverse what I have done.
Tried a reinstall and this did not change the situation, I guess it must be a registry issue.

Re: Improper Argument
Thanks Art
Re: Improper Argument
Hi Barry:
Ive added an exception section surrounding the circular gear initialization, hopefully, this will
stop the error. If you download the development version anytime after reading this post, it will
be in effect. Let me know if it still crashes.. Ill dig further..

Re: Improper Argument
Downloaded the development version as instructed;
This made no difference to my situation so I done what I believe to be a complete uninstall of Gearotic.
I then reinstalled the software and the result was much the same.
Here is what happens ...
Software opens and I get what I'm sure is the "project Window" and a side panel from which I should select the various gear types.
The "Circular" button appears to be highlighted but when it is clicked I see no change.
All of the other "gear type" options go to their respective pages.
The "Circular" option does nothing.

Hi Barry:
Does sound like its failing somewhere I am not finding.. the error tracking I put in stopped it from crashing
apparently. Can you send me an email to support@gearotic.com and Ill start sending you specific exe's to test till we eliminate it.
Thx
