Planetary gears verses worm drive in kinetic sculptures

  I didn't like the noise coming from the planetary gear motor so I purchased a small worm drive motor for $13. It is much quieter. I made a few more changes and think it is much better now. See the video  https://youtu.be/XUcwZbNLDyc

Nice Dan but aren't you concerned that all the cats around the sea hawk will attack?  :D

When my cat saw the seahawk carrying a flacon in its claw it ran back to  a spare bedroom and hid under the bed  :)

Happy to hear you liked it. I like those kind of projects. Gearotics made it possible to create the the sun gear so we have Art also to thank.
