Big Ass clock

  Here is a picture of my 30.5" 774Mm clock. It was made using my big laser cutter . The movement is a battery powered quarts. What can't be seeing clearly are the brass  machined bullets for the hour marker.  Next on my list to build is Art's scimitar.

Wow, thats a big laser cutter. Nice clock. I too love the way brass plugs enhance the wood.

Actually those aren't bullets they are chess pawns machined using mach3turn on my CNC lathe.

I have been impressed with those quartz movements. It has been almost 2 years since I installed that piece and the battery is still keeping the movement going with no time loss.
