Post by XLmoby »

do not understand this
<img src="https://www.imgbox.de/users/XLmoby/gear ... nannt1.JPG" alt="Bilder hochladen" border="0"></a>

shaft hole should be 49.7mm. But on the other side of the bevel it is smaller??!!
<img src="https://www.imgbox.de/users/XLmoby/gear ... enannt.JPG" alt="Bilder hochladen" border="0"></a>
when i load it in my printer software it looks like this.
<img src="https://www.imgbox.de/users/XLmoby/gear ... nannt3.JPG" alt="Bilder hochladen" border="0"></a>

all i wanted was a straight hole.

Hi Johannes:

Can you post a screen shot of the entire screen so I can duplicate this. It looks as if there is missing sections in this gear, perhaps
due to a shaft size too large for the initial creation. Let me duplicate it and Ill let you know what I think is going on.

Thanks

here are the screen shot.
All i need is the outer ring with teeth. that was the reason for the big shaft.
Thans for helping.

This looks like an error in the way the bevel gets designed internally, it assumes the shaft will not take more then a certain
distance from center to allow for the top tip to emerge properly. I have flagged this as an error for correction.

You might want to try generating the bevel in Ticker, it makes a better manifold for bevels.
