Hi Art
When I try to generate a 4th axis on a ratchet or escapement, no matter what is selected I get a message saying no gear data.
Am I missing something.
Have you made any progress with the unidirectional cutting especially for pinions?

Hi David:

Ratchets cannot be done on 4th axis, th elist is all gears which have tooth profiles in the their DXF's may be done, this include evolutes, epicycloidics, and pulleys , sprockets..

No other types can be done in 4th axis as yet.

Unidirection cutting is a selection in the 4th axis now.. Hopefully , video over next coupel days on it all.
