Been a while since I've logged in on been at a computer keyboard.
Had to do the old man thing have a stay in hospital for a while, well for a few months.
So all good back to the new world of AI and other good things.
Arty, I know I have asked this before but I will ask again you never know until you ask.
Have you ever considered Orrerys and the building off? Orrerys are just another fancy clock with a drive mechanisum, with the exception of extended drivers ratating planets moons and things in orbit.
There is only one registered Orrery maker left in the world today. The art has pretty much with the exception of 1 disappeared with the exception of enthusiasts that still keep it alive.
My humbe opinion orrery's are just one beautiful time piece showing something other than time.
Perhaps a nice video of one working might poke your creative coding talents in the right direction, who knows with ChatGpt 4 coding or local LLM coding such as Qwen 2.5 you may get the dedicated assistant to aid in the endeavor.
I think this is the most beautiful presentation video of an orrery ever made.

G'day and greeting to all from the Colonies Downunder.
Just saying hello.
Re: Just saying hello.
Hi Stojan:
Id love to do such a thing, but I know from had experience that building an orrery like that is far over my capabilities in terms of hardware. The drive has to be just so to do something that divine.. metal only I suspect to really make one shine. Even 3d printing that would be a nightmare I think, friction and such..
Im not very productive this past year, still playing about with unfinished projects.. I never say never...but..
Regards,
Art
