Hi Guys,
Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this tooth shape problem I'm having.
I'm remaking some gears in my motorcycl e odometer, the lager gears are fine but the 16T 0.5Mod tooth shape is incorrect .
Was there some way to increase the points calculate d in the tooth shape? I seem to remember there was but can't find the answer at the moment.

 Cheers,
Phil

Stand down, It's all good now  Smiley

After redefinin g my search terms here on the forum, I found the answer.

Point Distance

Changed it in the settings and problem solved.
Cheers,
Phil

Hi Phil:

Glad you found it. I will be settng about making it fairly automatic in the next developme nt cycle. I can see this happens far
too often so Ill be setting it automatic as a term of tooth form size I think, so that more inexperie nced users wont have this happen
to them. This problem is a holdback from a period when some cam programs were choking from too many data points.

Thanks
Art

PS: An odometer, eh? cool...
