I'm new to Gearotic and I'm certain that I'm missing the obvious, but there does not seem to be any way to do 1:1 printing of plating.

The way that I had assumed this would work would be to select plating along with gears before entering the Output Manager.

I'm one of the dinosaurs who has no interest in CNC, but want to use Gearotic for hand crafted clock design.

Is there another way to print 1:1 accurate shaft positions directly from Gearotic?

Hi Bruce,

Sounds like the same I asked a few days ago, and Art responded already that he is working on it.

Yes, I see now that our two posts are closely related and did not realize initially just how much so.

I assumed from early, simple tests from the Gearotic trial that I would be able to use the 1:1 print option to make templates for cutting ALL of the component s, not just the gears.  It would appear that most of the developme nt effort is focused on automated part productio n and is not really aimed at tradition al woodworke rs.   This is not a criticism, simply an observati on.
