Probably me, come to save a series of layouts and first one is 19 teeth and 29 teeth in 8DP.
Save as 19_29 grp whatever and then close, go back open it and it's the default 5DP file ?
Perhaps this cannot save gears only the project ?

Also only works once, save the second time over writes the first example, you have to close, redo the layout then save. really needs save As ?

Print.
Be nice to have a print button so you can print the gear data screen. At the moment I'm going Alt print Screen then into Ifranview, then print.

John:

  There is a bit of fudging in the save option. Some of it is the result of that damn framework not working as it should. Doc's on MFC Feature pack are terrible.
Wish Id never used it really.. Ill look into a print feature for gear data. When you load a file the DP of the design screen does default back to 5.. but selecting a
saved gear adn pressing "Send to design" shoudl update the design page with appropria te informati on.

John;

 I customize d my toolbar in Gearotic to include the "Save As" button. I did this by selecting the  "customize quick access toobar" (top right), more commands, then added the save as feature. Worked for me anyway..
