Let's say I'm creating a project and I've got Gear A, and Gear B, and C, and D and E, etc..  And they're wheels and pinions off each other.  So the wheel parameter s and pinion parameter s keep changing.  Now I want to go back and attach a gear to Gear A.  Not the shaft of Gear A, but I want the teeth to engage.  How do I recreate Gear A (in the spur gear section) so that I can construct a pinion that will mesh?

David.

Hi David:

Select the gear you wish a new gear to mesh to. Press the "To Design" button on the top of the project tree. The design screen will open with that gear in it. You can now change tooth count and such and the gear you create shoudl mesh fine.

Thx
