Hi Guys:

This is a temp release while I work out a few issues. It will give you the chance to play some with knuckle gears,
and or helicals in their new format. 3d-dxf's or stl's may be put out for either type. To make a knuckle, try making a
helical, and select the knuckle override when you create them.

Just to reiterate, a knuckle is full-knuckle if its set to 45 degree's. A 22.5 is half knuckled. .etc.. Knuckles must be created
left/right handed to mesh. However, this is only a simulatio n limit, in reality a left handed when flipped over becomes a rigth handed
so meshing any two knuckles will work..pro vided they are of the same degree, and the same gear face width. Since the knuckle is an
arc placed on the tooth face width, the widths must always match.

Let me know your experienc es, I likely have some cleanup to do. Smiley

Thx

John:

Nice picture!

Do carbide endmills make good shafts for gears?  Did you use bushings?  It could be a good use for that box of busted bits, and they should wear well...

Hi Kirk,
Exactly right I use broken carbide bits as the shafts and no bushings - they are just things to fidget with.

Hi Art, its all good now the IT guy allowed you software and I am all happy.

The mods look great its a bit easier to understan d what you are doing when what you see is what you get.
Thanks for the great work.
