I just discovere d the gear calculato r in GM. Great fun. I'm building a clock from a dxf from woodenclo cks.co.uk and needed to scale it down in Aspire. The scale down was arbitrary to fit a piece of material I had. After machining the gear in baltic ply I thought it would be fun to print out a gear from GM to compare. I wasn't sure how to go about designing the gear in GM but soon found the gear calculato r and plugged in 60 teeth and dia 5.93 and printed out the result 1:1 and voila everythin g matched up! " Art yu da man!" Thanks Dan III
