LOL.. yes, its always nice to show off with a new toy.
Ive finished my exeprimen
ts used to get used to it now though, and am designing a re-design of a HP1000 ink jet printer
to fit in a plexi cage that can be hung from a spindle plate to use as a usb controlle
d 3d printer.
I bought a new HP1000 ( 28.00 from walmart) ripped the guts totally out.. and am redesigni
ng the printer to be what I need.
Christ knows if it will work, but its interesti
ng to see if I can make this thing do what I want instead of what HP expected.

Ill probably need some gearotic gears to make it work out as I have to move the feed motor to a new spot to create a box that
basically hangs there with the inkjet at the bottom of the cage as my solvent squirter.
.

, then Ill write some special software
blocks to allow control of 3d output from it.
Ill post pics as I go for those that are intereste
d on my 3d printer topic. These types of projects are good for GM as I get to do
tests in a work environme
nt, find what pisses me off, and fix it before you guys get too pissed at the same type of things.
