I am a new user of Gearotic. I am unfamilia r with all of the terminolo gy used in the tutorials .
Is there a glossary od useful gear terminolo gy that I can refer to?

Hi Mark:

  This site has a few good definitio ns of the terms I tend to use.

  Ask about anything your unsure of though, Im happy to explain, sometimes the
terminolo gy is a bit fluid.. such as the words Wheel and Pinion, the true definitio n
is the smaller gear is a pinion and the larger is a wheel, but generally in Gearotic
the left hand gear on the design screen is the wheel and the right hand one is the
pinion. Other examples exist, but Im happy to explain anything you may have questions on.
