There is no section for photos so I will post here.  Mods can move it if needed.

I am a new-comer to Gearotic.   Had a go at some helical cut gears.

Tried a knuckle gear.

They meshed quite well.

 Thanks for the photo's. I really appreciat e them. My first knuckle gears didnt work out as well as my zero wasnt quite right.. and my blank was a little tilted.. just go to show how important the setup is in 4th axis work, yours look perfect..

HI Dan:

   I designed the knuckle gear as an answer to a herringbo ne gear which when cut by cnc requires a slot in the middle for clearance, the knucke gear doesnt, and should have similar propertie s to a herringbo ne in that it will operate at higher speeds.
 Dunno if thats strictly true.. but its a theory..
