GrabCad is a great (no spaming) free source of 3D models.
I follow Trinitysc sp on GrabCad, don't believe he designs all of them but rather turns odd and old mechanism s he comes across into a downloada ble 3D models, he is quite good and freely shares his work. Also models wooden toys useful for laser or machining .
