First of all, what a brilliant program  Grin

Is there any chance that non-circular planetary gears could be added, or even internal non-circular gears

An example from youtube

Hi Billy;

 Thanks for the comment.
  I've also seen this video on you tube while GM was in creation. The non circular planetary assembly is cool to watch as a 3rd order master rotates inside a 4th order planetary but only connected together using multiple spur between the two gears. It is obvious that it works, but how difficult it is to implement is the question. Will add it to the wish list and ask Dr.Art if he thinks the math is the slightest bit do-able. No question though, if it was possible I think Gearotic Motion as a Gear template generator would be one of a kind.

Hi Bob, Art,
- I have purchased a copy of Gearotic Motion when it first came out, and it sure has evolved and changed over time.
- I would love to cut out a planetary gear set with all non-circular gears.
- Is this possible now in Gearotic Motion?
- If so - how can I start back at this again.  Things seem complicat ed yet powerful, but daunting to learn.

Joe;

 I believe you can, first you select the non circular tab, create an elliptica l or logrithmi c shape you want then tooth it by clicking on tooth wheel., Next is your pinion gear, select the "planetary" check box bottom left and that should do it. A video does exist on YouTube if you wanted more info on how to do it?
