Title: STL Import into Cura are ten times larger than intended
Post by: Rickam on June 15, 2015, 05:54:36 AM
Gearotic STL output module works very well.

But I did notice that the scale of the project imports into Cura at ten times larger than actual size.   It's not a big problem shifting one decimal to re-scale, but I was just checking in to see if anyone else had the same experienc e. - all best!

Rick:

Havent had that issue, the coordinat es int he STL's are all absolute from the model, so it sounds like
cura may be applying a scale factor for some reason.. perhaps its set to centimete r mode?

Only the BBC and dressmake rs use centimetr es.
